Adhering to while in the footsteps of his grandfather, uncle and older brothers, he joined Cambridgeshire Constabulary in 1970, and remained during the police for ten years; his departure within the law enforcement arrived when he chose to compete in the 1980 Moscow Olympics, despite the British Fed
